Preparations
In order to be able to use SmartRace for SCX Advance, you need to set up these components properly:
- You SCX Advance 2.0 track including the SCX Advance Bluetooth Module. Please refer to the SCX manual in order to understand how you have to put the parts together.
- If you would like to use features such as fuel, dynamic weather changes, penalties or damages, you have to install the SCX Advance Pit Lane track piece to your track. Please make sure to put it exactly as described in the manual, otherwise it will not work properly. Once you connect SmartRace, you can check whether the pit lane is detected correctly in the “Help & Support” section.
- A device to run SmartRace for SCX Advance on, e.g a tablet.
Connecting
To establish the connection, just turn on your track and start SmartRace. SmartRace will automatically detect your track and establish the connection. After the connection has been established, SmartRace will synchronize with the track, which takes no longer than 10 seconds. Once you receive the green “connection established” notification on top of the screen, you’re good to go.
