Create driver specific throttle profiles

Each driver can have their own custom throttle profile. This profile will control how the throttle lever on your controller will react to your input. You can edit the profile in the driver profile (main menu > drivers > tap on a driver to open their profile). Changes to the profile will be stored in the database and applied immediately if…

  1. SmartRace is connected to your track and
  2. this driver has been assigned to any controller

If you change the driver assignment for any controller, the stored throttle profile for the newly assigned driver will be applied immediately.

Please note: Linear is the default profile for all drivers.

You can chose from five pre-defined profiles by pressing the buttons next to the throttle curve (see screenshot below):

  1. Most aggressive: Pushing the throttle lever very lightly makes the car accelerate quickly.
  2. More aggressive: Throttle sensitivity is between “most aggressive” and “linear”.
  3. Linear: Acceleration increases evenly when the throttle lever is pushed.
  4. More convervative: Throttle sensitivity is between “linear” and “most conservative”.
  5. Most conservative: You’ll need to push the lever strongly to make the car accelerate.

In addition to the pre-defined profiles, you can also customize the throttle curve by dragging the slider below the curve to the left or the right.
